Position: Home Care Assistant

Our Home Care Assistants play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our participants by delivering essential support in their homes. As integral members of our interdisciplinary team (IDT), you will actively contribute to the care planning process, ensuring that our participants receive the highest quality of care.

Reporting Structure: You will report directly to the Home Care Supervisor, responsible for the safe and effective delivery of personal care services to participants in their residences, as per the established schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct personal care and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and safe physical transfers.
  • Assist participants with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), including laundry, light housekeeping, and shopping.
  • Measure and document vital signs as directed.
  • Support light meal preparation and feeding, ensuring participants receive adequate nutrition and hydration.
  • Facilitate safe transfers in and out of the home and accompany participants to medical appointments as required.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $22.93 per hour, plus bonuses and equity options. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package, including 401(k) matching and extensive healthcare coverage. Actual compensation will be adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
