Position: Home Care Assistant

Our Home Care Assistants play a crucial role in our mission by providing essential support to individuals in their residences, while also actively participating in the care planning process as integral members of our interdisciplinary team (IDT).
Reporting Structure: The Home Care Assistant will work under the supervision of the Home Care Supervisor, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of personal care services to participants in their homes as per the established schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on personal care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) for participants, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and safe physical transfers.
- Support participants with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), such as laundry, light housekeeping, and shopping.
- Measure and document vital signs as per instructions.
- Assist with light meal preparation and feeding, ensuring participants receive adequate nutrition and hydration.
- Facilitate safe transfers in and out of the home and provide medical escort services to appointments as required.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $22.93 per hour, plus bonuses and equity options. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes 401(k) matching, healthcare coverage, and a wide array of other benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
