About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our TJ Maxx team as a Retail Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational and merchandise standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and embodying our customer experience principles
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to all operational and merchandise standards
  • Process customer purchases and returns accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with precision
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs to customers
  • Support and participate in store recovery efforts, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
  • Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering a highly satisfied customer experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, supporting business needs and adapting to changing circumstances
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Works effectively with peers and supervisors, demonstrating a positive and respectful attitude

This position has a starting pay range of $12.00 to $12.50 per hour, with actual starting pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
