Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance Technician for Field Assurance plays a crucial role in managing daily activities within the Field Assurance Lab, focusing on complaint handling. Key responsibilities include overseeing the logistics of complaint sample processing and conducting timely image assessments related to complaints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document all complaint samples received for evaluation.
  • Facilitate daily requests for sample return kits, ensuring proper shipping and tracking documentation.
  • Maintain accurate shipping inventory and manage supply orders through approved vendors.
  • Oversee image and video review requests, ensuring timely processing and follow-up.
  • Adhere to good documentation practices when recording analysis results.
  • Escalate unexpected issues to the Supervisor or Manager.
  • Maintain a clean and compliant laboratory environment.
  • Ensure proper storage and disposal of complaint samples according to established procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within lab processes.
Qualifications:

Required:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred:
- Familiarity with FedEx shipping processes
- Previous experience in a warehouse or medical industry setting
- Background in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or laboratory environments.

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or relevant experience preferred.

Work Environment:
