Job Title: Adjunct Faculty

Mountain Empire Community College is seeking qualified adjunct instructors to teach in the Division of Arts and Sciences.

Job Summary:

We are looking for motivated and experienced professionals to join our team as adjunct faculty members. As an adjunct instructor, you will be responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses in a classroom or online environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality instruction to students in a classroom or online environment.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum.
Requirements:
  • Masters in the teaching field or Master's with 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching field.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver coursework electronically in an online environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Wide range of coursework in the area of instruction.
  • Demonstrated ability to incorporate technology into instruction.
