Medical Laboratory Scientist

Contract: 6 months (temp to hire)
Shift: 4 x 10 3rd shift schedule
EligibilityU.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, or individuals with an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) are eligible to apply for this position.
Required Skills- Generalist - Chemistry Lab Tech [experience with Hematology, UA, etc.]
- Complex testing – supporting core lab
- ASCP or AMT is NOT required but preferred.
- Is this for a Medical Lab Technician [2 year MLT degree ] or Medical Lab Scientist / Medical Technologist [4 year BS] or are you open to either? We are looking for MT/MLS but open to MLT.
- Please confirm if ASCP or AMT certification is required. [If required, are you open to eligible /registered candidates?]
- PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Are you seeking a generalist [proficient in testing in all Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation] or are you seeking a Micro Lab worker with Molecular background? We are seeking a generalist.
- What department will this technical position support? [Micro lab, Core lab, DNA sequence, etc.] Core lab
- Is Blood Bank experience required for this role? PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED.
- Any particular LIS [Lab Information System] experience you would like to see on resumes? [Millenium, Cerner, Epic etc.]
- Bachelors degree in a physical, chemical, biological science or Medical Technology.
- Education Preferred: Can have an AA if they are an MLT.
