The Security Officer 2 provides a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, medical staff, and employees. This role involves patrolling assigned areas, detecting potential safety hazards, and promoting good public and staff relations.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol assigned areas to detect unauthorized persons or potential sources of crime
- Maintain order and intervene in disturbances in a calm and efficient manner
- Respond to public service calls, including criminal offenses, civil process, and customer service requests
- Assist Police Officers as required to maintain order and assist with arrests
- Respond to medical emergencies and maintain secure facilities
- Produce complete and accurate reports, including criminal offenses and safety hazards
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Less than 1 year of experience
- Commissioned Security Officer (LSO) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Valid Texas Driver's License
