Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a clinical leader. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and administering IV infusions and injections for patients with chronic illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and administer IV infusions and injections for patients with chronic illnesses.
- Prepare biologics and educate patients on medication risks, benefits, and side effects.
- Collaborate with ordering providers to discuss care plans and communicate with referring providers to ensure documentation meets medication criteria.
- Verify medical records and diagnostic tests, review pertinent labs and reports.
- Keep Medical Director and Nursing Director informed of clinical updates and issues.
- Manage registered nurses and other clinic staff, addressing any issues that arise.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or post-master level certificate in pediatrics.
- Current basic life support/AED & ACLS certification.
- Minimum two years of experience in hospital, clinic, and/or ambulatory settings caring for children and adults.
- Must be comfortable handling emergency situations.
- Demonstrates leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
