Nurse Practitioner

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our MinuteClinic team in Riverside, CA. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our community. You will be responsible for delivering primary and family evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
Responsibilities:
* Provide primary and family evidence-based care to patients of all ages, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.
* Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, TB, and Depo, and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
* Perform administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment.
* Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
Requirements:
* Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
* Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
* Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred, but not required.
* Epic experience preferred.
