We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering to lead our Account, Integration, and Developer Portal teams. This is a pivotal role aimed at significantly enhancing the way our users authenticate and manage their data as well as the way customers integrate with our platform to satisfy diverse use cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engineering Team Leadership: Guide the technical strategy and execution for Account Authentication & Recovery, Account Management & Customer Implementation, Channel Partnerships & Solutions Integrations, and the Developer Portal.
  • Innovation and Development: Spearhead the development of cutting-edge solutions for omni-channel authentication, seamless customer integrations, and personalized member experiences.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Design/UX, Data Science, Fraud Prevention, and Customer Success teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to key product functionality and user experience.
  • Scale the Infrastructure: Address the growing needs of our user base and customers by enhancing our GTM capabilities, optimizing integrations, and ensuring system scalability.
  • Security and Fraud Prevention: Implement robust fraud protection measures focusing on preventing account takeovers and ensuring data accuracy and security.
  • Drive Growth: Support our growth by enabling new customer logos and expanding use cases, particularly in the Commercial segment, through innovative solutions.
  • Team Building and Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team capable of delivering on our strategic goals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: Significant leadership experience in engineering within tech companies, with a strong preference for backgrounds in identity management, authentication, or related fields. Proven track record of developing and scaling digital products, particularly in the areas of authentication, security, and customer integration.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of modern authentication technologies, security protocols, and data management practices. Familiarity with cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and agile development methodologies.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to align engineering strategies with business objectives, anticipating future trends, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Leadership: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and drive teams towards achieving ambitious goals. Experience building and scaling engineering teams.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in technology or business management are a plus.
