Job Overview

The NavitsPartners team is seeking a highly skilled Certified Trauma Registrar to join our team in Elmhurst, NY. This role offers a competitive salary of $40-$42/hour for a 9 AM-5 PM, Monday through Friday schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate trauma case documentation and compliance with local, state, and national trauma registry requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on trauma cases, including injury severity, treatment outcomes, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze trauma data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Support trauma center accreditation/re-accreditation by maintaining accurate trauma data records and ensuring adherence to regulations governing trauma care set by state health departments and ACS.
  • Contribute to regional and national trauma networks for ongoing research and healthcare improvement.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
  • Proven experience with EPIC EMR, NTRACs Trauma Registry, and previous remote work experience in trauma registry management.
