Position Summary:
The Low and Medium Voltage Electrical Engineer will oversee the effective execution of projects that involve low and medium voltage electrical systems. This role requires specialized knowledge in electrical design and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement
- Prepare comprehensive estimates for costs, timelines, and resource allocation
- Lead and manage EPC projects focused on low and medium voltage electrical and instrumentation/control systems
- Fulfill technical responsibilities as a senior electrical engineer
- Identify needs for additional resources and support the Engineering Manager in project resource allocation
- Contribute to the development of process enhancements, including quality management system elements, standards, and documentation
- Act as a representative for the client at various technical and industry events
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in electrical engineering and design within the low and medium voltage domain
- PMP certification is advantageous
- A minimum of 10 years of technical experience in designing industrial electrical transmission and distribution systems
- At least 5 years of experience in project management
- Strong emphasis on Change Management and Project Controls
- Ability to lead project teams effectively
- Experience in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors is a plus
- Client-focused with problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills to foster productivity and respect
- Enthusiastic about mentoring junior team members
- Demonstrates strong safety practices in alignment with company safety cultures
Experience Requirements:
- 10-15 years of experience in the engineering design sector
