Low Voltage Design Engineer

DBR is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Low Voltage Design Intern to join our team in Houston and Austin.
We are a fast-growing company in the building technology system industry, and this internship will provide a unique opportunity to learn about IT infrastructure system, professional audio and video system, and security system consulting and engineering work.
Responsibilities:
- Gain hands-on experience in engineering and technology consultation process and best practices
- Develop skills in building technology system engineering design and modelling from start to finish
- Participate in corporate-led internship activities, including team building, educational, professional development, and mentorship opportunities
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Strong interest in building technology systems, including Smart Building Technology, Digital Audio and Visual Systems, Electronic Security and Safety, Wireless Networks, and ICT Network Structured Cabling
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and ask questions
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Familiar with AutoCAD/Revit
- Ability to communicate and work with others as part of a project team
