Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team as a Commercial Rough-End Electrician. This role involves installing the underlying electrical infrastructure in commercial buildings during the rough-in phase of construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install conduits, wiring, and other electrical infrastructure in commercial buildings, following blueprints, diagrams, and local electrical codes.
  • Run and install conduits (EMT, PVC, RMC, etc.) to protect electrical wiring and cables.
  • Pull electrical wires and cables through conduits, ensuring proper wire sizing, routing, and termination.
  • Install electrical boxes, outlets, switches, and other devices, ensuring proper mounting and connections.
  • Troubleshoot issues with electrical installations, using testing equipment and diagnostic techniques.
  • Ensure electrical installations meet local, state, and national electrical codes (e.g., NEC).
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure coordinated installation and minimize conflicts.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Commercial Rough-End Electrician.
  • Strong knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
