Role Summary

The Pressroom Material Handler at Vidya Brands Group LLC plays a crucial role in supplying necessary materials and assistance to press operators, facilitating seamless press operations across various shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately categorize paper stock by type and thickness
  • Ensure proper aeration of paper loads when required
  • Prepare specifications for ink, jobs, and plates for upcoming assignments
  • Efficiently manage the delivery of printed materials
  • Prepare printing plates for future projects
  • Assist with press clean-ups and transitions between jobs
  • Adhere to ISO, SQF, and HACCP guidelines while upholding workplace safety standards

Role Coverage

In the absence of the designated Pressroom Material Handler, the Pressroom Manager will designate a substitute to carry out the specified responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience in manufacturing
  • Physical ability to handle full pallet loads of printed sheets
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Technical skills for advancement in pressroom positions
