About the Role

The Anesthesia Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the operations of our Anesthesia program. This individual will be responsible for managing the program's administrative tasks, including scheduling, staffing, and credentialing. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Anesthesia team schedule and ensure timely and accurate staffing
  • Coordinate onsite physician/CRNA interviews and follow up on hiring recommendations
  • Oversee the coordination of physician/CRNA orientation and facilitate all onboarding requirements
  • Ensure physicians'/CRNA' shifts for payroll with 100% accuracy
  • Serve as a liaison between Sound and Hospital Medical Staff Office
  • Serve as a liaison between Hospital departments and the Anesthesia team
  • Understand program requests around committee participation and assist the Program Medical Director
  • Communicate key announcements to the Anesthesia team and maintain important team documents
  • Oversee partnerships with internal Provider Enrollment, Billing, Payroll, and Compliance teams
  • Provide administrative support to the Program Medical Director
  • Coordinate monthly team meetings
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Medical Assistant Certification is required
  • Technology competency with electronic software needed for role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • 1-2 years' experience in a healthcare customer service or medical office setting
