Position Overview

Compensation Details
Estimated earnings of approximately $2402.00 per week, with hourly rates ranging from $26.00 to $31.00, depending on shift length. Actual compensation may vary based on eligibility and adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver exceptional patient care within the imaging department, ensuring high-quality imaging and examinations while being sensitive to patient needs.
• Adhere to ACR practice guidelines and safety standards for MRI.
• Exhibit leadership qualities and serve as a role model for fellow technologists.
• Act as a clinical resource for unit personnel, ensuring compliance with current standards of practice.
• Conduct magnetic resonance scans to produce high-quality images while following safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure.
• Prepare patients for examinations, providing necessary information and addressing their concerns.
• Assist patients during procedures, ensuring proper positioning and comfort.
• Monitor patients and equipment throughout the process, documenting any unusual occurrences.
• Facilitate efficient patient flow and optimal resource utilization.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, imaging staff, and hospital personnel to support patient care continuity.
• Perform IV starts and administer contrast as required.
• Maintain equipment functionality and cleanliness of the work area.
• Participate in ongoing education and training initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
  • Licenses/Certifications: CPR/BLS, State License-Radiology Technologist, ARRT-MR, ARRT-R
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift between 50-100 lbs
