This role is centered around customer service and requires a professional who can effectively address our clients' parts-related inquiries and provide expert guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recommend products and/or services to resolve customer issues and fulfill their requirements.
- Ensure the parts department is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
- Uphold the standards of the retail sales area and displays to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Assist the Parts Manager in managing inventory to optimize sales and enhance customer experience.
- Supply service technicians with necessary parts on a daily basis.
- Facilitate clear communication with advisors and technicians to promote efficient workflow.
- Notify customers promptly when their ordered parts arrive.
- Verify documentation for received parts.
- Adhere to dealership procedures for cash, credit, and check transactions.
- Participate in training sessions as directed by management to maintain job proficiency.
- Utilize dealership tools and resources safely and effectively.
- Foster positive customer relations by greeting and acknowledging all visitors.
- Monitor shortages and expedite by reporting to the Parts Manager.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Parts Manager.
- Experience in a parts department is essential.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are required.
- Comprehensive understanding of parts room and workshop settings.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient with computers and capable of learning inventory systems and other software.
- Ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a dynamic environment.
- Physical capability to lift items and navigate the stock room.
- All candidates must successfully complete pre-employment assessments, including background checks and drug screenings.
