Advertising Revenue Growth Specialist

The Sales Account Representative is responsible for generating advertising revenue by building relationships with local businesses and convincing them of the merits of television advertising. This role requires a strong understanding of the media industry and the ability to develop and implement strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed sales goals.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain credible relationships with local business owners and decision-makers
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow revenue and exceed sales goals
- Make sales calls on existing and prospective clients to promote television advertising
- Maintain assigned accounts and develop new accounts to increase revenue
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients to explain the benefits of television advertising
- Provide clients with information regarding rates for advertising placement in all media
- Develop advertising schedules with clients and station personnel responsible for placing advertising into station media
- Work with clients and station personnel to develop advertisements that meet their needs and goals
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Mass Communications, or a related field
- Minimum one year's experience in sales, preferably in the media industry
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Experience achieving long-range objectives and implementing strategies to achieve them
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment
