Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units.
  • Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, ensuring accurate and precise results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams, including images and reports.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate imaging equipment, with minimal physical effort.
