Job Summary:

The Guidance Center of Westchester's Mobile Crisis Response Teams are seeking a skilled clinician to join our team. As an Emergency Mental Health Clinician, you will provide critical support to individuals in crisis, working closely with law enforcement and community leaders to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and engage with individuals in crisis, providing de-escalation and stabilization services as needed

• Develop and implement safety plans and crisis prevention strategies

• Collaborate with community resources to provide comprehensive support and linkage to services

• Interface with law enforcement and other stakeholders to ensure seamless crisis response

Requirements:

A Master's Degree and New York State licensure as an LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC are required. Unlicensed clinicians may be considered. Strong clinical triage and assessment skills, as well as familiarity with Westchester resources, are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for engaging with community members are also required.
