The Tampa General Hospital Foundation Inc is seeking a highly skilled Wound Care Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and advocating for the needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care in regard to wound care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other clinical disciplines to create and modify patient plans of care.
- Provide case management to a group of patients, including assessments, treatments, and patient/caregiver education.
- Act as a patient advocate in the delivery and coordination of patient care.
- Participate in policy development, implementation, and training of direct caregivers.
- Manage a number of patients at the same time, prioritizing tasks and maintaining high energy and organization.
Requirements:
- Graduation from a school of nursing with a current Florida license.
- One year experience in an acute care setting.
- FL RN license; BLS certification required.
