Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Ottumwa Regional Health Center. As a Medical Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for performing clinical laboratory patient testing, including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, transfusion medicine, and microbiology.
Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical laboratory patient testing according to assigned performance standards.
- Conduct hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, transfusion medicine, and microbiology tests.
- Ensure accurate and timely test results.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related clinical field.
- Graduate of an accredited laboratory training course.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
