Position Overview:

The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for managing the logistics functions within the organization. This role encompasses the planning, execution, and oversight of logistics operations, including the management of freight forwarders and the tracking of logistics activities.

Key Responsibilities:

● Formulate and execute logistics policies, procedures, and controls aligned with the company's strategic objectives;

● Establish and sustain a logistics network that guarantees timely distribution of products and materials to various stakeholders;

● Supervise logistics for international shipments and ensure the appropriate configuration of systems for incoming equipment;

● Monitor stock levels to confirm that materials and products are accessible to meet production and delivery timelines;

● Enhance standardized logistics systems and support warehouse operations by conducting regular assessments of performance improvement plans;

● Create and uphold logistics plans and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable regulations (e.g., customs, import/export laws);

● Address transportation-related customer inquiries and serve as the main contact for all logistics-related concerns;

● Manage and optimize shipping costs and budgets, negotiating rates or services as necessary;

● Mentor and lead the logistics team to ensure efficient and accurate execution of all logistics activities;

● Compile and present periodic reports on logistics performance, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related discipline;

● At least 5 years of experience in a logistics role, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory capacity;

● Understanding of compliance requirements related to customs and import/export regulations;

● Familiarity with freight forwarding software and industry-specific technological tools;

● Strong leadership skills with an emphasis on team development and performance management;

● Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects;

● Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English.
