Work Schedule
Operating Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Job Responsibilities
The primary role of this position is to conduct thorough reviews and audits of admission consent forms to ensure they meet regulatory standards and agency guidelines. This includes the processing of new referrals.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Education: Some college education is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in healthcare administration or customer service is required. Familiarity with hospice and home health programs is advantageous. Proficiency in computer skills is essential. Strong customer service abilities are necessary.
- Professional Attributes: Must be organized, adaptable, and self-driven, with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the medical team. Ability to cultivate a solid understanding of hospice clinical practices is important. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Language Proficiency: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
