About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at InGenesis. As a key member of our dental department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our dental officers and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dental officers in various dental specialty sections, including restorative, oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthetics.
  • Retrieve patient records, escort patients to the dental treatment area, and prepare them for dental procedures.
  • Prepare dental instruments, materials, and medications, and assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Triage dental emergencies, obtain diagnostic-quality radiographs, and process and save digital radiographs to patient records.
  • Ensure proper disinfection and sterilization techniques are followed, and maintain accurate records of maintenance and testing.
  • Manage contaminated biological/hazardous waste, and maintain logs associated with storage and disposal.
  • Perform administrative duties, including answering phones, managing mail, and preparing treatment schedules.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience providing Expanded Duties Dental Assistant services (preferred but not required).
  • Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) that meets or exceeds American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
  • Ability to place and finish all types of dental restorations, temporary and permanent.
  • Preferred certificates of completion of the Coronal Polishing, Radiation Safety, and Radiation Techniques Course.
  • Bilingual oral communication skills (desirable).
