Dental Assistant Professional

Key Responsibilities- Assist dentists and hygienists during various treatment procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
- Take dental x-rays and prepare patients for exams, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Set up and break down operatory equipment, ensuring everything is ready for the next patient.
- Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow, ensuring seamless communication between team members.
- Manage infection control, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene strategies, promoting good oral health and preventing complications.
- Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns, demonstrating your technical skills and attention to detail.
- Perform quality impressions and bite registrations, ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Support patient charting for doctors, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Perform various office tasks as needed, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to adapt.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to provide exceptional patient care, prioritizing teamwork and communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with active licensure, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice.
