We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to oversee the setup and operation of machinery for the production of premium insulated cable products. Candidates with a background in manufacturing and a strong attention to detail are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet production benchmarks by performing quality assessments in accordance with ISO standards.
- Identify and resolve issues in manufacturing processes to ensure timely completion.
- Accurately complete all necessary production documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of machinery and produce cables according to established specifications.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment as required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to uphold product quality.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
- Be available for full-time work with the possibility of overtime as needed.
Safety Expectations
- Comply with safety regulations and promptly report any safety concerns.
Required Skills
- Strong reading, communication, and mathematical abilities.
- Mechanical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with measuring instruments and tools.
- Capability to manage various wire gauges and products.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with cables and wires is a plus.
- Visual acuity and color recognition skills are essential.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
- Capability to bend, stoop, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Experience handling machinery, materials, and tools.
- Ability to maneuver large cable reels.
