Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to join our team at Brethren Care Village. As a key member of our Assisted Living department, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing activity programs that promote socialization, mental stimulation, and physical well-being for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate activity programs, including transportation and one-on-one activities with residents.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and activity schedules.
  • Develop and maintain a good rapport with other departments to ensure a collaborative team effort.
  • Assist residents with daily tasks, such as visiting, writing letters, and running errands, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • At least 16 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Current and valid First Aid Training (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Ability to pass activity certification program (with training upon hire).
