Job SummaryWe are seeking a part-time Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician to join our team in Manassas, VA. The ideal candidate will provide 1:1 therapy in our outpatient clinic and/or in an approved community setting, under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst/Assistant Analyst (BCBA/BCaBA).
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 therapy in our outpatient clinic and/or in an approved community setting (client's home, school, daycare, etc.) under the supervision and guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst/Assistant Analyst (BCBA/BCaBA).
- Follow client-specific programs, behavior plans, and other activities or procedures as outlined for each client.
- Complete all required clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain client privacy in accordance with all HIPAA regulations and Family Insight Policies.
- Communicate effectively with all members of the clients' treatment team.
- Must be able to complete onboarding training and upload required documentation within the established time frame at hire.
- Attend scheduled staff meetings and supervision meetings.
- Participate in remote interview process.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and move swiftly with clients to ensure their safety between sitting and standing positions.
- Must be able to pass criminal background checks and drug test.
- Preference will be given to applicants who are a RBT, have ABA experience, or enrolled in BCBA/BCaBA coursework.
- The ability of flexibility to work a schedule to include but not limited to evenings, weekends and sometimes holidays.
- Competitive pay: $22.66 - $23.67 per hour.
