We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Government courses at our institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in a variety of settings, including traditional classrooms, online, and potentially in a correctional facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide innovative and engaging instruction to students in Government courses
- Maintain current knowledge and expertise in the subject area of teaching responsibility
- Commit to the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum-based outcomes
- Complete all necessary paperwork within required time frames
- Attend faculty meetings and professional development as required
- A Master's degree in Political Science is required, or a Master's degree with 18 hours of graduate work in Political Science
- Ability to work with students, faculty, and staff members in a professional manner
- Ability to plan, schedule, and manage projects and assignments
- Experience teaching in a two-year college or university
The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of settings, including traditional classrooms, online, and potentially in a correctional facility.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
