We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach Government courses at our institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in a variety of settings, including traditional classrooms, online, and potentially in a correctional facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide innovative and engaging instruction to students in Government courses
  • Maintain current knowledge and expertise in the subject area of teaching responsibility
  • Commit to the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum-based outcomes
  • Complete all necessary paperwork within required time frames
  • Attend faculty meetings and professional development as required
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Political Science is required, or a Master's degree with 18 hours of graduate work in Political Science
  • Ability to work with students, faculty, and staff members in a professional manner
  • Ability to plan, schedule, and manage projects and assignments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching in a two-year college or university
