Job Summary:

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication, cognitive, and swallowing strategies
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with Adventist Health's policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure in the state of practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
