Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients of diverse backgrounds.
  • Create tailored treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders and educate patients and family members about the causes and effects.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license and a minimum of 6 months of experience in the field.
  • Strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments, as well as excellent coaching and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in patient databases and electronic medical records.
