Job Summary:

The Stocker/Polisher is a vital member of the Gibsons Restaurant Group team, responsible for maintaining the appearance of the dining room by polishing silverware and stocking glassware, utensils, and other supplies. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Restock the dining room and expo line with china, silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments, and linen, ensuring adequate supplies are available when the dining room is open.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the overall dining room, including walls and shelves, to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  • Polish all glasses and silverware to be used in the dining room, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ensure working areas are maintained in a clean and orderly manner throughout the shift, promoting efficiency and productivity.
  • Stock shelves, racks, tables, and service stations with new or transferred supplies, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Perform all opening and closing side work as required, including folding napkins and making extra place settings.
  • Follow company and equipment standards, completing any assigned training to operate job-specific equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times, reflecting the values of the Gibsons Restaurant Group.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and no prior experience is required. You must be able to work independently, communicate effectively with colleagues, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Additionally, you should be able to follow instructions and procedures, and maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
