Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement MRI scanner protocols tailored to individual patient needs
- Screen patients for contraindications, including implanted devices, to ensure safe scanning procedures
- Explain procedures and monitor patients to guarantee their safety and comfort during scans
- Administer contrast agents and start IVs as needed
- Evaluate images for technical quality and maintain the cleanliness of the scanner and associated equipment
- Document necessary medical requirements and contribute to MRI quality control
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Completion of a course in imaging technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and board certification or eligibility in MRI (must obtain certification within one year of hire)
- Active WA state license or pending application
Competitive Compensation and Benefits:
As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $40.00 to $60.00 per hour, based on factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and more. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, you'll have access to a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
