Position Summary: The Head of Arboriculture Operations will oversee and expand the arboriculture division at Shearon Environmental. This role encompasses the creation and execution of arboriculture initiatives, managing multiple tree care teams, and ensuring the vitality and safety of trees across diverse landscapes.

  • Outdoor Enthusiasm: A genuine passion for working outdoors and a strong commitment to environmental preservation.
  • Professional Experience: Certified Arborist credentials are essential; OSHA certifications are preferred.
  • Key Skills:

    • A valid driver's license is mandatory.

  • Program Development: Design and implement thorough arboriculture programs, focusing on tree health, maintenance, and safety.
  • Client Engagement: Educate commercial clients on their landscape needs, provide tailored estimates, and develop annual plant health care strategies.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise a skilled team of arborists, ensuring effective job execution and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Operational Support: Collaborate with operational team members to enhance service delivery and develop client-focused proposals that address specific needs.

Qualifications:

  • ISA Certified Arborist status.
  • Preferred ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification.

Proven success in developing and executing effective arboriculture programs, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills are crucial. Candidates should be capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
