Ideal Candidates Will Possess:

  • Experience in constructing ground-up projects across various sectors including Multifamily, Retail, Mixed-use, Education, Healthcare, Senior Living, Student Living, Office, Hotel, and/or Industrial, with project values exceeding $25M.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • A readiness to travel within the Midwest region.
  • The capability to cultivate and sustain significant professional relationships.
  • Knowledge of the local market.
  • A solid grasp of construction principles, coupled with a strong desire to learn.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Technical Expertise: Proven ability to interpret intricate construction documents (drawings, specifications) and comprehend contract terms (prime contracts, subcontracts, change orders).
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities to tackle on-site challenges and make prompt decisions.
  • Project Coordination: Demonstrated capability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and adhere to deadlines.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership attributes to motivate and guide a team, delegate tasks effectively, and promote a cooperative work atmosphere.
  • Industry Acumen: Thorough understanding of multifamily construction industry standards, best practices, and regulations.
  • Technological Proficiency: Competence in using software tools (Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific applications) to manage project data and communication.
  • Experience with Procore is preferred.
