Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team at Residential One LLC. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the overall aspects of community operations, including leasing, marketing, and resident services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leasing and Marketing:
    • Supervise all leasing activities, including showings, applications, and lease signings.
    • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to maintain 100% occupancy.
    • Collaborate with the regional director to create and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Resident Services:
    • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Ensure that all resident issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
    • Conduct regular resident satisfaction surveys to identify areas for improvement.
  • Financial Management:
    • Manage the community's budget, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
    • Ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and compliant with company policies.
    • Prepare and submit financial reports to the regional director and other stakeholders.
  • Maintenance and Repairs:
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of community facilities and equipment.
    • Ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure that all community operations are in compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the community and the company.
    • Develop and implement procedures to prevent and respond to emergencies.
Requirements
  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in residential property management.
    • 1+ year of experience working with LIHTC/Section 8 property management.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
