About the Position

Montezuma Winery is seeking a talented full-stack Engineer with a strong background in Data Engineering to join our Studio team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both front-end and back-end development and an understanding of data pipelines, data architecture, and data integration. This role involves designing and implementing scalable web applications and robust data systems, ensuring seamless data flow and high-performance analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using web technologies
  • Design, build, and manage data pipelines for efficient data processing and integration
  • Implement and optimize database systems and data warehouses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Ensure web applications and data systems' scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Implement best practices in coding, data management, and data security
  • Continuously improve and update skills in emerging technologies and methodologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field
  • A minimum of 7 years experience in full-stack development and data engineering
  • Experience with front-end programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Typescript
  • Strong experience with backend frameworks, particularly in a cloud environment
  • Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
  • Solid understanding of data engineering concepts: ETL processes, data warehousing, data lakes
  • Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of data integration tools and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
