Job Summary

The Property Claims Field Adjuster role at Encova Insurance involves investigating, evaluating, and processing property claims that require in-person contact and on-site inspections. This position is responsible for handling personal and commercial property losses, including structure, contents, and business income losses. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a thorough knowledge of claims settlement techniques and Encova's policy products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and evaluate property claims, including personal and commercial losses
  • Conduct on-site inspections and write moderate to large property estimates
  • Assist in risk evaluation and verification of insurance to value
  • Comply with claims organization's policies and procedures
  • Negotiate and settle claims
Requirements
  • Experience as an Encova Insurance Property Resolution Specialist or equivalent
  • College degree or equivalent in insurance or business
  • Continuing insurance education desired
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Thorough knowledge of claims settlement techniques and Encova's policy products
