Position Summary:
The Lawn Care Specialist will play a crucial role in implementing our comprehensive Lawn Care program, which encompasses weed management, lawn nutrition, and our renowned lawn rejuvenation initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year of experience in Lawn Care or Landscaping is required. The ideal candidate should possess a thorough understanding of lawn weed control and nutrition, including safe handling and application of materials, proper equipment operation, and effective client interaction. Familiarity with aerators and mowing machinery is highly advantageous. The Lawn Care Specialist must demonstrate self-motivation, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently.
Core Responsibilities:
- Adhering to management directives and established procedures.
- Completing daily routes efficiently while meeting quality standards.
- Utilizing the appropriate equipment for each job site as specified.
- Reporting any equipment malfunctions to the Shop Manager.
- Engaging in on-the-job training regarding safety and equipment usage.
- Exhibiting self-motivation and professionalism.
- Consistently wearing the required uniform and safety gear.
- Maintaining reliable transportation to and from work.
Essential Requirements:
- Possession of a WSDA pesticide license or the ability to obtain one.
- A valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
- Capability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Full range of mobility in both upper and lower body.
