As a Registered Nurse in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you will provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population. This is a part-time, night shift position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to a group of patients assigned to your care, based on their individual needs and your nursing competencies.
- Complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and report patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
- Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- AHA ACLS certification within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
- AHA PALS certification within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
- AHA NRP certification within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification for NICU- Level 2 Nursery within 6 months of hire or transfer date into unit.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Two years of experience in acute care, with a focus on med/surg, telemetry, or ICU.
