Parking Operations Supervisor Job Description

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of our parking facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and promoting a positive and professional image of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of assigned parking facilities, ensuring operations are handled within contractual guidelines and company policies.
  • Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction, fostering a positive and professional image of our company.
  • Assist with management duties as assigned, including maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general maintenance tasks.
  • Courteously assist customers, responding to requests for service and assistance in a timely and professional manner.
  • Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
  • Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills, and other hazards as directed by the Facility Manager.
  • Substitute for any position, if necessary, to ensure seamless operations and customer service.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the parking facility, major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area.
  • Complete other duties as needed to support the success of our operations team.
Requirements:
  • Minimal high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Oral Communication: speaks clearly, listens and gets clarification, responds well to questions.
  • Written Communication: writes clearly and informatively, able to read and interpret written information.
  • Customer Service: maintains a positive attitude, responds to requests for service and assistance.
  • Adaptability: adapts to changes in the work environment, able to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Judgment: exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
  • License Requirement: a valid state-issued driver's license, with a current address and acceptable driving record, if the individual is expected to be able to drive a company vehicle or drive on company business.
