Parks Beverage Server

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Adult Beverage Server to join our team at the Kentucky Department of Parks. As a seasonal (interim) Adult Beverage Server, you will be responsible for preparing and serving adult beverages and food to guests at State Parks. This role requires a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Set up lounge area for guests, mix drinks, serve drinks and food, and clean up lounge area.
Prepare guest checks and collect payments from guests.
Check food to assure that appearance, temperature, and portions are correct for guests.
Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists.
Perform prep work including cleaning and stocking the lounge area, preparing garnishes, glassware, and mixers.
Maintain the dining and lounge areas in compliance with all safety, food, and health department requirements.

Requirements

High school graduate.
One year of experience in food service operations.
Must be twenty-one years of age.
Must obtain Server Training in Alcohol Regulations certification from the Ky. Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control within 90 days of employment.
Must complete the Department of Parks alcohol training before serving alcohol.
Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this classification.
