Job Summary

Thorlabs is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk II PM Shift to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate shipment of packages to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately, utilizing a hand-held scanning device.
  • Verify and maintain records of outgoing shipments, including weights and shipping charges.
  • Assist in loading trucks and vans, and help courier services locate packages for correct delivery.
  • Collaborate with inventory and receiving teams as needed.
  • Process international shipments using carrier software.
  • Understand and adhere to all essential functions of inventory and receiving processes.
  • Train new employees on shipping processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse experience, with previous experience in inventory control a plus.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work positively in a team environment and meet high quality standards.
