Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Weight Control Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will hold a B.S. degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering and have at least 3 years of experience in the design and development of marine vessels, focusing on both structural and auxiliary systems for a variety of marine crafts, including patrol boats, offshore supply vessels, tugs, and barges.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and oversee vessel designs, ensuring structural integrity and functionality of auxiliary systems.
2. Monitor and manage weight modifications throughout the vessel's development stages.
3. Ensure adherence to maritime regulations and standards, including ABS, CFR, USCG, SOLAS, and IMO.
4. Foster effective communication and provide leadership within the engineering team and with external partners.
5. Manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining timelines in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications:
1. B.S. degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.
2. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in vessel design and development.
3. Knowledge of ABS, CFR, USCG, SOLAS, IMO, and other pertinent regulations.
4. Strong communication and leadership abilities.
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD, FEA, GHS, and Rhino software is preferred.
6. Capability to handle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
