Job Summary:

The Salvation Army is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all floors in the facility by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing
  • Maintain bathrooms by restocking supplies, cleaning, and disinfecting sinks, mirrors, urinals, toilets, and walls
  • Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles
  • Pick up papers and other debris inside and outside of the facility
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
