Critical Care Nurse

Catholic Health System is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care
- Graduate from an accredited Registered Professional Nursing program
- Current BLS validation and ACLS training required within one year of hire
- Current New York registration as a Registered Professional Nurse
- Minimum one year of critical care clinical experience preferred
- BSN degree
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good computer skills
- Demonstrated clinical ability and critical thinking skills
