We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Athletic Trainer to provide per diem services to our clients. As an Athletic Trainer with JAG Physical Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide athletic training services for events and competitions
- Coordinate and manage the medical and risk management of athletes, including preventative care and emergency response
- Document injuries, illnesses, and treatments in accordance with JAG Athletic Training policy and state licensure standards
- Communicate effectively with athletes, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement plans of care
- Collaborate with other JAG professionals to provide comprehensive care and refer patients to other services as needed
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE-approved program
- BOC certification and licensure in the State of New York
- Current BLS certification and personal liability insurance
- Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to fluid situations
