Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team at Seven Seven Software. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating team ceremonies, coaching the Product Owner, and shielding the team from outside distractions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and facilitate team ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint demo, and retrospectives
  • Coach and support the Product Owner to effectively manage the backlog and maximize business value
  • Shield the team from outside distractions and interferences
  • Help manage risks, raise impediments, and facilitate their resolution
  • Develop familiarity with the team's objectives and the role and function of each team member
  • Lead the team to a high-performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement
  • Represent the team at the Scrum-of-Scrum (SoS) and collaborate with other Scrum Masters
  • Participate in Scrum Master Communities of Practices (CoP) to learn from and share experiences

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role
  • Adept at story writing, estimation, refinement, and other techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a 'servant leader' mindset
  • Exceptional communication skills, analytical, problem-solving skills, mentoring, and facilitation skills
  • Highly organized and motivated with a 'can do' attitude
  • Assertive with the ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment
